The Matrix Forum is a Special Interest Group focused on emerging technologies such as IoT, DeepTech, AI, and Quantum Computing With a network of over 2000 start-ups, corporate, investors, and policymakers in these sectors, the forum serves as a platform for collaboration and innovation.
The Matrix Global Summit, the forum’s annual conference, is highly popular and was scheduled for June 7th and 8th, 2023.
The Matrix Forum launched the Matrix University Awards 2023, a start-up pitch competition for engineering students of Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and other universities in the state in high-tech areas such as IoT, DeepTech, AI, and Quantum Computing. The competition has three phases that run from April 7th to June 8th, 2023 providing participants with ample time to finetune their ideas and craft a winning pitch. The Matrix University Awards 2023 will encourage entrepreneurship among engineering students by providing a unique opportunity to network with the best in the industry, showcase their innovative solutions, and connect with potential investors and business partners. The competition will empower engineering students with the skills, knowledge, and resources they need to succeed in the world of emerging technologies and entrepreneurship, and contribute to the growth and development of the global tech ecosystem.

We glad to inform that two of our projects Team Varuna (Autonomous Under Water Vehicle for Cage Fishing) and Team Mechrockz-Rescuer Buoy had been shortlisted for the top ten teams. Both the teams have pitched their ideas on June 2nd 2023 through online mode & received good feedback from
the jury members.
Team Mechrockz- Rescuer Buoy has won second place with a cash prise of Rs. 30000/-and Varuna have won Special Mention Award.
