Sri Sairam College of Engineering conducted a session on Japanese Language on the 4* of July,2023. The session was organized by the English Club along with the Higher Education & Cell.The club and HEC had invited the brand owner of Gnananandha Nihongo Gakkou, Smt.Madhuvanthi as their speaker for the session. The session was initiated with an introduction on the basics of Japanese Language which was followed by a ppt presentation on the areas of growth by learning the Language. Japan being the second largest economy in the world needs more youngsters to help their innovation
spread across the world, the speaker enlightened the students on the job opportunities offered by variegated Japan based firms where on learning two levels of the language one can earn in lakhs per month. The speaker trained the students in translating sentences from their mother
tongue to Japanese Language; this made the session interactive & interesting. She spoke about the most commonly used words in Japan and how the economy works there. Students asked the meaning of some Japanese words which were further answered by the speaker. The speaker also familiarized the students to some Japanese food and dressing trends followed in India. She upheld the collaborations that Japan has with India and how Japan based companies
