The Department of Mechanical Engineering has organised webinar on “Influence of Artificial Intelligence in mechanical Engineering” for 1& II Year students on 04.08.2023 – Friday from 11.00am to 12.00pm in the AV Hall

Mr. N.Rajeshkumar, Assistant professor / Mechanical Engg. welcomed all the participants for this wonderful event and gave introduction about the chief guest Mr. Jagadesh.M, Assistant Professor / ECE, SNS College of Technology, Coimbatore. Dr. V.Balaji, Head of the Dept / Mechanical Engg. gave speical address to participants

In this webinar the resource person gave presentation on the following topics to the student.

• Industry 1.0 to 4.0
• Data Science
• How Al Works?
• Difference between Al vs ML vs DL.
• How Al interlinked with Mech. Engg. with some exmaples – Self Driven Car, CoBOT
• Pros and Cons of Al

In addition to the above topics he also explained the block diagram of Al, different Al based
hardware and software like chatbot, virtual assistant etc, role of Al and ML in robotic industry
and useful tool for AL
