Report on International Mother Language Day- 20.02.2020.
Kannada Sahithya Vedike Club & Cultural Club jointly organized International Mother Language Day on 20th Feb 2020. The Chief Guest Dr. B Shadaksharappa, Principal Prof.C Sivaprakash, HOD-ECE, Prof. P Venugopal, Program Convener were grace the occasion.
The Program was started with an invocation song of Vandematharam, later Prof. P. Venugopal, Program Convener welcomed Dr. B. Shadaksharappa, Principal, Sri Sairam College of Engineering, Prof. C. Sivaprakash, HOD-ECE, Staff members, Participants and students of Sri Sairam College of Engineering.
Principal Dr. B. Shadaksharappa rendered presidential address. In his address, he highlighted that 17 Indian languages, our students are speaking in our college. Sir encouraged the students to learn & respect our all Indian languages.
Principal, Head of ECE Department honored the student winners of Essay Completion held on 19th Feb 2020. 118 students participated in that essay competition.
Cultural activities like Music, Singing competitions organized for students. 30 students participated & performed.
Prof. Shwetha Hiremath, Asst. Professor of CSE proposed the vote of thanks. The program was ended by a national anthem.
