  • Participated in Technoxian Quadcopter Challenge from 28th to 30th April 2017

Achievements of the Project:

  • Participated in MASTERPIECE LIVING TALENTS, DUBAI-2017
  • Participated in the IEEE YESIST 12 2019 (YOUTH ENDEAVORS FOR SOCIAL INNOVATION USING SUSTAINABLE TECHNOLOGY) (formerly SS12) is an international talent show for the students and young professionals to showcase their innovative ideas to solve humanitarian and social issues affecting directly the community around them.
  • Firefighting Drone Projects has been selected for the Texas Instruments India Innovative Design Challenge. Texas Instruments sponsored 200$ worth of components for the development.
  • Our college teams DRONA (Drone team) with faculty advisors Mr. Arunkumar MR participated in the VIBRANT GUJARAT STARTUP SUMMIT 2018 and Vibrant Gujarat Grand Challenge 2018 Idea Category Winners and showcased their products in the expo from 11.10.2018 to 13.10.2018. Gujarat Deputy CM Mr. Nitinbhai Patel Visiting our Sairam Start-up Table and received INR 10000 cash prize.

Brief description of the project:

  • The quadcopter is built for firefighting situations for the areas where it is difficult for firemen to reach.
  • It can be operated using a transmitter at a specific range or can also be turned on into autonomous for working in out of remote range which will return back on its own once the task is completed.
  • It will be helpful for getting live feeds of the fire affected areas with the help of normal or heat sensing cameras.
