The Entrepreneurship Development Centre and Entrepreneurship Club had organized a seminar on Social Entrepreneurship and Life Skills for Gig Economy by Mr. SathishRaj , CEO, E-Crusaders, Chennai on 08/08/2023 . The first session was organized at 11AM at seminar hall for Ist Year students of all branches. The second session was organized at 2pm for 2″ year all branch students.
The session commenced with the eminent Guest, Principal Dr. B. Shadaksharappa, Management Representative Dr. R. Arunkumar, PRO & Trustee Sri Patel gracing the occasion. The Program commenced with the Invocation song by student Ms. Bhavani. Management Representative Dr. R Arunkumar Welcomed the chief Guest, Principal and Audience. He mentioned that the Chief Guest Mr. Sathishhraj is a proud alumnus of Sairam Engineering College, Chennai our group institution. He mentioned about the innovation ecosystem in sairam campus, journey of entrepreneurship centre, Chairman’s words and vision to make every student to start a startup and progress in the path of entrepreneurship. He welcomed and appreciated Chief guest for his efforts in vision of transforming the young minds across countries.
Prof Malini K V, Head-EDC introduced the guest to the audience and highlighted the Guests achievements and vision. The Dignitaries Felicitated the Chief Guest and honoured him with the traditional gestures and welcomed him to the occasion. Principal Dr. B. Shadaksharappa addressed the audience and mentioned about the connection of economy and nation building with entrepreneurship. Ile also mentioned about the aim of the students should be an employer but not limited to being an employee.
The Host Ms. Keerthi Chowdary thanked all and opened the session. Mr. Sathiraj addressed the students and briefed about the entrepreneurship, skills needed, the thinking styles, Writing Journal to make the entrepreneurship as life skills and nation economy building through entrepreneurship. He conducted the second session to the second year students in the afternoon followed by Q & A session where the students asked questions about money management, failure management and goal writing etc….
The session ended with a note of thanks by Prof. Malini K V who thanked the chief guest for his time and consideration to be the speaker. Thanked Principal, Management, trust office and HODs for their support and cooperation to organize the program. The students expressed their happiness for being in the session and for the best takeaways of the session.
