CSE ( IoT & Cyber Security including Blockchain Technology), undergraduate B.E degree programme familiarizes students with the functional and operational aspects of Computer Science and Engineering with specific insights in the domain of IoT, Cyber Security and Blockchain Technology
IoT(Internet of Things) is a technology that interrelates computing devices, to enable transfer of data over a network, without requiring human-to-human or human-to-computer interaction. IoT applications focus on automating different tasks and are trying to empower the inanimate physical objects to act without any human intervention and it increases the level of comfort, efficiency automation for the users.
Cyber Security has become predominant in the product and process oriented industries, reason being the increasing rate of cybercrimes in online platforms. Cyber that transacts online or carries sensitive data is in need of a Cyber Security professional to safeguard its data from such delinquents.
Blockchain is a decentralized, distributed and public digital ledger that is used to record transactions across many computers so that the record cannot be altered retroactively without the alteration of all subsequent blocks and the consensus of the network.
By integrating the above technologies in the curriculum, the Department can prepare students to become proficient in emerging technologies while addressing the growing demand for skilled professionals in IoT, Cybersecurity, and Blockchain domains. Department not only enhances academic excellence but also contributes to industry-relevant research and innovation.
