The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering had organized an Industrial visit to HIGH VOLTAGE LAB for 1st year students as a part of Industrial visit to impart the knowledge of High Voltage like Surface discharge, Ion flow and Lightning simulation. Students thoroughly enjoyed the experience of all the three experiments.

PURPOSE: To gain the Knowledge of how the high voltage will be utilized, controlled and safety measures.
We reached the destination at 11:45 am. Prof Surekha, was allocated to explain the working of three experiments related to High voltage operations to the students. It was wonderful experience with the guide she was very polite and explanation regarding the experiments and their operations was really good and clear, she also cleared the doubts asked by the students. She also given positive feedback about the students and regarding their active participation in the lab.
We returned to college campus by 5pm in the evening.
The 2nd and 4th year students of Dept. of EEE participated in IDEA-SPARK competition organized by IEEE-PES Power and Energy Society Student Chapter, Bannari Amman Institute of Technology .Congratulations to Tejas and Team who WON 1st Prize for the Idea-ESKT and Sachin and Team interdisciplinary team of 2nd year EEE and CSE bagged 2nd prize for the Idea-Design Creators.
The Dept. of EEE had organized ” Five Day IOT Based Applications “hands on Workshop for 2nd Year students of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in association with Gened Technologies,Bangalore where Mr.Uday Bhargav trained the students on IOT and on various automated controls in Robotics.Students modelled the automation through app building and controlling the Robo’s through cellphone from 20th to 24th Feb2022.
Dept. of EEE,IEDC,IIC,N and W Club,Energy Club in association with our MOU partner Skill Shark Technologies,EduTech Industries Renowned name in the EV industry ,Hyderabad jointly organized an Interactive Webinar on “How to Make a Career in EV Industry????” for the students of EEE and ME on 2/2/2022 in Sir MV AV Hall @12Noon.The Resource Person Mr.Ashar Ahmed,CEO,Skill Shark Technologies interacted with the students and highlighted the beaming opportunities in EV sector and the relevant skill sets looked upon.
